The proceeds of the holiday chocolates are benefiting Bridge of Promise, which is a local non-profit organization who provides a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. Once these individuals turn twenty-one, services from the public school system stop. These adults who cannot work, go to college or advocate for themselves are left with minimal options. Parents of these young adults are then confronted with "what now?". Bridge of Promise provides purpose, creates options for these individuals and their families and ensures they continue to have social, recreational and life skills opportunities out in the community.
